Design of a Hover wing Aircraft

Hovercrafts are vehicles that can travel over land and water. For the movement, they use the push exerted from the air which are generated through propellers connected to the engine. They are designed in such a way that their motion in smooth both in land and water. In the project, we aim to design the complete hovercraft in a CAD Software by considering all crucial factors in its working. We considered various parameters and took equations from standard papers to complete the whole design. Optimization and future scope is also discussed.

 

Design of Heat Sink for Interior Component Assembly of Laptops and desktops

Now a days, Laptops are being used almost everywhere in our day to day life. Their applications are vast and varied starting from medical field to education, filming, etc. A lot of research is being done and their capacities are increased day by day with advent of new designs and technologies. The main problems with the laptops are that they heat up causing serious issues to the user health and the environment.  Laptop heating can’t be prevented completely but can be reduced by making changes to its interior component spatial arrangement design. In this project we have studied the laptop working mechanism and made its crucial components in the CAD software. Then performed a thermal analysis and compared it with different internal arrangement designs.

 

Design and CFD analysis of micro class RC plane

Planes are one of the interesting inventions of the twentieth century. They are aerodynamically designed for the successful flight even in unexpected/tough surroundings. We in the project aim to design a micro class plane which can fly in various environment conditions. Several factors are considered and equations are formulated from standard papers. Based upon the formulations, plane is built. Then the computational fluid analysis is done and the design is optimized

 

 

Design of molds for plastic injection molding– gear, multi cavity, chair, bottle, fan (any one product)

Plastic products have several applications in day to day life. They are almost used in every product in some way. Companies find advantage in its huge potential for bulk production. Although initial cost is high, as the product count/demand increases the cost per piece comes down. Before making these plastic products into bulk production, a mold is needed to be made. In this project we are going to make the mold design in CAD software based on industrial standards.

 

Study and review of product life cycle development approaches in industries

To develop a product, proper planning and execution are required. Successful companies/Industries follow certain steps to achieve their goal of making a successful product. In the project we studied and discussed about the product development process followed in top industries. After that pros and cons are discussed and finally a product life cycle process is developed and reviewed.
